Splat Specific Rules
Blood Oath
1) The Blood Oath (or blood bond) is a forced brainwashing, that for the remainder of the round, enjoins the players in a leader/follower dynamic. Both players should be communicative and set OOC boundaries to play. A player that is a subordinate to a blood bond will never be considered OOCly at fault for failing to communicate a boundary.
- 1.1: Blood bonds are not persistent and last only the round they took place in. You do not need admin intervention to force characters away from their faction for the round they are bonded in. If a player intends to make a blood bond persistent, and it moves them to a new faction, they must inform staff via ticket.
Discipline Teaching
Cainites have the ability to share their blood disciplines between one another. Discipline teaching should not be reciprocal trades, and have the following additional restrictions: Cainite character sheets may have two additional disciplines for a limit of 5 disciplines total. Caitiffs are also limited by this rule.
A cainite character may have one additional "rare discipline" and a "common" one, or two additional common ones. If a character has two rare disciplines, any remaining disciplines should be common.
Disciplines are distinguished as follows:
