The Lasombra, known as the Clan of Shadows, are a clan of highly competitive social Darwinists who brook no failure. The Keepers are occasionally seen as a dark mirror of Clan Ventrue. They are rulers who choose not to sit on the throne, for remaining in the shadows affords them true power. They're most notable for being one of the founding and main clans of the Sabbat, alongside Clan Tzimisce, and slaying their antediluvian.

Lasombra

The Lasombra, known as the Clan of Shadows, are a clan of highly competitive social Darwinists who brook no failure. The Keepers are occasionally seen as a dark mirror of Clan Ventrue. They are rulers who choose not to sit on the throne, for remaining in the shadows affords them true power. They're most notable for being one of the founding and main clans of the Sabbat, alongside Clan Tzimisce, and slaying their antediluvian. Throughout history, Clan Lasombra has had a strong tie with the church. At first with faith, but now their control over church serves only to command the kine.

Recent History

While the Lasombra have always had a select few members within the Camarilla, following the Sabbat's Fourth Civil War in the early 2010's, half of the clan has defected to the Camarilla at the behest of the Friends of the Night. Lasombra are under more pressure than ever to prove themselves to the sect they have historically pitted themselves against. They undertake burdens and duties beyond the other clans, but their perfectionist nature drives them to succeed.
