You have a natural control over sound. No one knows the source, unless they are deeply familiar with this power, or your character having it, and using it/explaining it, etc. IC. Daughters and Sons are very mysterious, and do not tell people of this power without reason. However, witnesses to this power DO roll their Mentality to realize that something wasn't quite right with the sound, hinting to something strange without much hint of a source. Experienced kindred may suspect Melpominee, and you with it with enough reason.

The Melpominee Discipline appeared simultaneously with the Daughters of Cacophony and is intrinsically linked to that bloodline. It allows its possessors to use speech and song for a variety of supernatural effects.

Associated Powers:

Level 1: The Missing Voice: Target a Living Mob/Person, or an Object, and make it SAY anything you like."*Emotes" will not work.

The difficulty starts at 5 and can be improved; If the targeted speaker is masked, you get a +2, and if they are typing a message as you cast the power, you get a +2 as well. Objects get no boost.

Level 2: Tourette's Voice/Phantom Speaker: You project your voice sending a message to a character who's face you've seen.

This sends one message, privately, to anyone you have seen before, wherever they are in the city. (In Lore, there seems to be no actual cap on the distance, but is limited to active and present player characters. Fun Note.) The only requirement is for your character to have seen the target character's bare face. It's that simple. This persistent between rounds, and "Faces" pile up quickly if you're active. The character's name is only needed for the Your player knowledge, to use the power in the menus. Your character does NOT need to know their name IC, to send a message to them. As a player you can use the name from their speech, even if they don't give their name in dialogue.

However! You should NOT use a name discovered from this power, unless your character knows by other means, and doing so could lead to corrective actions.

Level 3: Siren's Beckoning: Force targets in an area of effect to follow you for 2 Seconds.

Level 4: Primal Scream: Force all the people around you to scream in agony at your song, as well as stun them for 2 seconds.

Level 5: Death of the Drum: Force all the people around you to scream in agony at your song. Has a chance to deal Deals 50 Brute damage to all affected targets.
