Salubri
The Salubri are the once-clan of Saulot who linger as a barely-existing bloodline. They were the shepherds of the kine, kindly healers and priests, and vengeful warriors and crusaders who bring war against the infernal. They are divided into the Healer and Warrior caste, with a rumored third existing. In the dark ages, their Antediluvian was slain and diablerized by the Tremere, and the entire clan cast as soul-stealing infernalists. The clan-turned-bloodline was ruthlessly slain en masse until only a very few pockets remained in hiding. In modern nights, this perception has not changed. The Salubri are demon-worshippers who are to be slain on sight, with the Tremere being the most vicious hunters.
Healer Caste:
Disciplines: Auspex, Fortitude, Obeah.
Flaw: The Unicorns struggle to feed from the unwilling. They must receive consent from their target, though supernatural enforcement is no qualm. Additionally, advancing Obeah to the second level will develop a permanent third eye on the Salubri's forehead that opens on use of the discipline.
Warrior Caste:
Disciplines: Auspex, Fortitude, Valeren.
Flaw: The Furies cannot gain sustenance from those they have not defeated in a battle, whether lethal or a friendly spar. Blood must be taken by force. Additionally, advancing Valeran to the second level will develop a permanent third eye on the Salubr's forehead that opens on use of the discipline.
Recent History
In the 1990s, the ancient Salubri Warrior, Adonai, was recovered from torpor by the Sabbat, alongside his pack. They eagerly joined the Sabbat to bring vengeance upon the Tremere and the Camarilla that shelter them. While the Salubri have always been more humane than other kindred, the Furies seem to have no difficulty setting their qualms aside in order to bring down bloody vengeance. The honorable crusader of the past has been replaced by the bloodthirsty revengers of Adonai's blood. They have embraced anew and swelled their clan's numbers with battle-hungry warriors indoctrinated to hate for the Warlocks.
