In these contexts, they may imply a level of cultural knowledge absorbed, or scale of influence.
Fledgling
Newly embraced kindred. They are those who have not yet been released by their sire and are considered their property and students. Additionally, under the tradition of the Accounting, the actions of a fledgling reflect on their sire, meaning that sires tend to be very strict with fledglings they've publicly claimed.
Neonate
