Obtenebration is the trademark Discipline of clan Lasombra which is the unearthly control over shadows. It is related to the practice of Abyss Mysticism within the clan.

=== Associated Powers ===<br>

Level 1, Shadow Play: Gain Control Shadows, this can be cast on yourself or on a target, coating the area around them in shadows that follow them as they move. Size increases with how well the caster knows Obtenebration.

Level 2, Shroud of Night: Pull a target towards you with a Shadow Tentacle, dealing 25 Burn damage. Being out of combat mode will instantly pull them into an aggressive grab. Manipulation + Occult against Difficulty 7.<br>

Level 3, Arms of the Abyss: Conjure several tentacles within a region of sufficient darkness that indiscriminately attack targets. Can be toggled between Aggressive, Control, and Passive modes. Number of tentacles is based on successes of Manipulation + Occult against Difficulty 7.<br>

Level 4, Black Metamorphosis: Spend 1-2 turns to activate, depending on Generation. Gain great damage resistance. Manipulation + Courage against Difficulty 7 to activate.<br>

Level 5, Tenebrous Form: Spend 1-3 turns to activate, depending on Generation. Become a two-dimensional shadow immune to all damage aside from magic, fire, and sunlight. While in this form, the user cannot attack, but they can pass through doors, tables, and lose all weight, allowing them to fly.<br>

Abyss Mysticism
Abyss Mysticism is the secretive art of Clan Lasombra, a tightly held series of occult and philosophical practices that delve into the source of Obtenebration, the Abyss. An Abyss Mystic is likely to eschew conventional morality as they immerse themselves in the darkness of the Abyss.

Blackout: Breaks all lights within a set radius. <br>

Self Destruction: Kills the user. <br>

Identification: Identifies occult fetishes, found around the map. <br>

Comforting Darkness: Heals whoever is on the ritual, significantly better than standard Bloodheals. 30 second cooldown.<br>

The Heart That Beats in Silence: Summons a creature of the Abyss to fight for you. Maximum number of summons is 3 + Leadership.

Reflections of Hollow Revelation: Summon a sphere of primordial darkness to spy on a target through a distant shadow. Mechanically requires the name of the target to be input, but lore-wise requires only having previously seen the target. Perception + Occult against difficulty 7. If the roll to scry upon the target is a botch, the caster will suffer a -2 penalty to all their stats for a single scene. Targets with Obtenebration or Auspex who are scried on roll Perception + Occult against difficulty 8 to sense the thickening shadows spying on them.
Rumor has it that learning Visceratika will cause the user to develop the stony appearance of a Gargoyle.

Associated Powers:

Level 1, Whispers Of The Chamber: Sense everyone in the same area as you. Gives you the names of every person in the same room as you, Obfuscated or otherwise hidden.

Level 4, Armor Of Terra: Passively grant damage negation to all damage, even fire.

Level 5, Flow Within The Mountain: Merge with solid stone, and move through it without disturbing it. Same as level 3, however you can now pass through walls as you please.

Dominate is a Discipline that overwhelms another person's mind with the vampire's will, forcing victims to think or act according to the vampire's decree. The caster must lock eyes with the target to affect them, and must maintain eye contract through use of the discipline for it to take effect. It cannot affect Kindred whose Generation is lower than the user. The command must be spoken aloud and understood by the victim for it to succeed.

Associated Powers:<br>

Level 1, Command: Force the victim to obey a one word custom command. The subject cannot be ordered to harm themselves. Manipulation + Intimidation with the difficulty being the target's temporary Willpower.<br>

Level 2, Mesmerize: Implant a false thought or hypnotic suggestion in the target. Suggestions can be implanted to be triggered by a later stimulus, such as a code-word or certain circumstances. Cannot be ordered to harm themselves. Manipulation + Leadership with the difficulty being the target's temporary Willpower.<br>

Level 3, The Forgetful Mind: Permanently alter a target's memories. The amount of alteration depends upon the successes scored. With 1 success, a single memory is removed for a day. With 2 successes, a memory is permanently removed. With 3 successes, a memory can be permanently altered. With 4 successes, an entire scene's worth of memory can be altered or removed. With 4 or more successes, entire periods of the subject's life can be reconstructed. Additionally, The Forgetful Mind can be used to detect and restore altered memories in others, but never oneself. Wits + Subterfuge against the target's temporary Willpower.<br>

Level 4, Conditioning: Condition an individual to become weak to Dominate effects. The conditioned individual can no longer resist the effects of Dominate from the caster. Conditioning lasts the entire round. *whistle, *snap, *snap2, and *snap3 all have mechanical effects on those conditioned. Charisma + Leadership against the target's temporary Willpower. If done over the course of several rounds, can turn the victim into what's effectively a slave with the OOC consent of both parties.<br>
Level 5, Possession: The caster can take over the body of a mortal. The caster's body enter torpor as their spirit enters the victim's body, who becomes an unwilling observer in their own body. The caster uses the stats of the one they've possessed, and may depart at any moment. If the subject they are possessing is slain, the caster is shunted into their body and enters a torpor until they reawaken. If the caster's body is destroyed while they are possessing someone, they have only a limited amount of time left within the body until they are forcefully shunted out and their soul lost. The embrace in this form will lead to the Final Death. Charisma + Intimidation versus the target's temporary Willpower.<br>

Thaumaturgy is the closely guarded form of blood magic practiced by Clan Tremere. It is organized into Paths, with Path of Blood being the default form of the discipline. The other two paths available, the Lure of Flames and Levinbolt, can be researched in game for the duration of a round.

All Thaumaturgy powers require a Permanent Willpower roll with the difficulty being 3 + the level of the power. If the roll botches, then the caster suffers a random detrimental effect.

Associated Powers:<br>

Path of Blood
Level 1, A Taste for Blood: Test blood within a syringe to discover information about who it belongs to, with more information based off the successes gained. Whether the target is kindred or not, their clan, their generation, how many blood points remaining they have, and if they are a diablerist or not.<br>

Level 2, Blood Rage: Each success forces the target to spend a point of vitae on a random discipline they have. May lead to unpredictable results.<br>

Level 3, Blood of Potency: Temporarily lower the generation of the caster. Successes are split between generation lowered and duration, with duration successes being in-game hours.<br>

Level 4, Theft of Vitae: Supernaturally drain and absorb blood from a target. Does not cause bonding from Vitae absorbed. Successes equate to the amount of blood absorbed.<br>

Level 5, Cauldron of Blood: The Caster causes the target's blood to boil within their body. Each success destroys a blood point and deals aggravated damage. A single success instantly kills a mortal.

Lure of Flames
Level 1, Candle: Creates a small flame in the caster's hand that can be used as a lighter.

Level 2, Palm of Flame: Creates a flame in the caster's hand that adds burn damage to punches.

Level 3, Campfire: Throws a fireball at a target with damage scaling with successes rolled.

Level 4, Engulf: Engulf your target in flames to deal continuous burn damage with damage scaling with successes rolled.

Level 5, Inferno: Summon tremendous fireballs that act as artillery. Designated zones will be marked where the fireballs will land ahead of time. Although slow to cast and avoidable, the damage is tremendous.

Levinbolt
Level 1, Spark: Conjure a small amount of electricity to surround you. Touching electronics in this state will disrupt them, and those that attack you will be shocked.

Level 2, Illuminate: Conjure lightning to wreath your fists and enhance your attacks.

Level 3, Power Array: An enhanced version of Spark. Those that attack you will jitter and be stunned.

Level 4, Zeus' Fury: Build up energy and unleash it as bolts of lightning that arcs between targets.

Level 5, Eye of the Storm: An even greater enhance upon Spark and Power Array. The Caster becomes infused with a tremendous amount of energy and fires lightning bolts out at random at nearby victims.

The Camarilla
The Camarilla is the preeminent vampire society throughout much of Europe and North America. It seeks to govern all vampires, whom they call Kindred, through a series of rules known as Traditions. The most important tradition is the Masquerade, which defines the organization. The Masquerade is the method by which the Kindred hide the existence of both themselves and other supernatural beings from the existence of normal people. The Camarilla was founded in 1435 on the heels of the Inquisition, and the elders who lead the body remember well the consequences of a mortal body too aware and too abused.

The 'Ivory Tower' as it is also known is lead by the Inner Council of Seven, each seat given to an elder of one of the clans of the Camarilla; Brujah, Gangrel, Malkavian, Nosferatu, Toreador, Tremere, and Ventrue, though the Brujah and Gangrel have officially seceded from the Camarilla within the last two decades to be very recently replaced by the Banu Haqim and the Lasombra. Each clan is assigned a Justicar who acts as the visible face and agent of their respective Councilmember, and each Justicar handpicks several Archons to act as their agents.

Cities within the Camarilla are lead by Princes, who treat their city as their person domain and city-state. With respect to the Camarilla and the Traditions, the Prince may do with their city and those within as they wish; their word is law. The Prince is served by their Seneschal, if they chose one, who will act as their successor, advisor, and right-hand man. A Prince will additionally appoint a Sheriff to act as the martial force of the city and their personal enforcer, while the Sheriff may appoint their own agents, known as Hounds, to aid them.

While the Prince's word is law, they are not without checks. The Seven Clans typically each have in office a Primogen, whom is the eldest of their clan or appointed to represent the interests of their clan within a city. While the primogen's power differs vastly based upon the individual strength of the assigned primogen and the strength of their clan within the city, they act as checks on the Prince's power. While no individual primogen may have great power than the prince, primogen united may depose a prince who they find lacking. A Prince's term may be for life, but there are no qualms within the Camarilla for deposing a lacking prince. Praxis is afforded to those with the strength and ability to both seize and keep it.
The Traditions
Thou shall not reveal thy true nature to those not of the Blood.<br>
Doing such shall renounce thy claims of Blood.<br>

The Second Tradition:<br>
The Domain<br>
Thy domain is thine own concern.<br>
All others owe thee respect while in it.<br>
None may challenge thy word while in thy domain.<br>

The Third Tradition:<br>
The Progeny<br>
Thou shall only Sire another with the permission of thine Elder.<br>
If thou createst another without thine Elder’s leave, both thou and thy Progeny shall be slain.<br>

The Fourth Tradition:<br>
The Accounting<br>
Those thou create are thine own children.<br>
Until thy Progeny shall be Released, thou shall command them in all things.<br>
Their sins are thine to endure.<br>

The Fifth Tradition:<br>
Hospitality<br>
Honor one another’s domain.<br>
When thou comest to a foreign city, thou shall present thyself to the one who ruleth there.<br>
Without the word of acceptance, thou art nothing.<br>

The Sixth Tradition:<br>
Destruction<br>
Thou art forbidden to destroy another of thy kind.<br>
The right of destruction belongeth only to thine Elder.<br>
Only the Eldest among thee shall call the Blood Hunt.<br>
Thou shall not reveal thy true nature to those not of the Blood. <br>
Doing such shall renounce thy claims of Blood.<br>

The Second Tradition: <br>
The Domain<br>
Thy domain is thine own concern. <br>
All others owe thee respect while in it. <br>
None may challenge thy word while in thy domain.<br>

The Third Tradition: <br>
The Progeny<br>
Thou shall only Sire another with the permission of thine Elder. <br>
If thou createst another without thine Elder’s leave, both thou and thy Progeny shall be slain.<br>

The Fourth Tradition: <br>
The Accounting<br>
Those thou create are thine own children. <br>
Until thy Progeny shall be Released, thou shall command them in all things. <br>
Their sins are thine to endure.<br>

The Fifth Tradition: <br>
Hospitality<br>
Honor one another’s domain. <br>
When thou comest to a foreign city, thou shall present thyself to the one who ruleth there. <br>
Without the word of acceptance, thou art nothing.<br>

The Sixth Tradition: <br>
Destruction<br>
Thou art forbidden to destroy another of thy kind. <br>
The right of destruction belongeth only to thine Elder. <br>
Only the Eldest among thee shall call the Blood Hunt.<br></center>

They are divided into the Healer and Warrior caste, with a rumored third existing. In the dark ages, their Antediluvian was slain and diablerized by the Tremere, and the entire clan cast as soul-stealing infernalists. The clan-turned-bloodline was ruthlessly slain en masse until only a very few pockets remained in hiding. In modern nights, this perception has not changed. In the 1990s, the ancient Salubri Warrior, Adonai, was recovered from torpor by the Sabbat, alongside his pack. They eagerly joined the Sabbat to bring vengeance upon the Tremere and the Camarilla that shelter them. While the Salubri have always been more humane than other kindred, the Furies seem to have no difficulty setting their qualms aside in order to bring down bloody vengeance. The honorable crusader of the past has been replaced by the bloodthirsty revengers of Adonai's blood. They have embraced anew and swelled their clan's numbers with battle-hungry warriors indoctrinated to hate for the Warlocks.
The Kiasyd are an enigma of a bloodline. They are fae-blooded scholars developed from otherworldly alchemical experimentation of the Lasombra, though some claim the Kiasyd predate even the Lasombra's own. They are mercurial alchemists obsessed with their own studies into the occult and arcane than any political achievements. They nominally belong to the Sabbat by and large, but only because the Lasombra begrudgingly claim them as their own and make use of them.

Disciplines: Dominate, Mytherceria, Obtenebration.

Flaw: The Kiasyd are clearly alien in appearance. Upon the embrace, they grow in height to be six foot and higher, with willowy builds and pale or even light blue skin, while their eyes lack visible pupils. Due to their alleged fae nature, they suffer an allergy to iron. Touching it will induce a frenzy.

Recent History
With the defection of so many of the Lasombra to the Camarilla, many Kiasyd have come with. They have always been a very rare bloodline, but there's more of a chance one may be spotted within the cities ruled by the Ivory Tower.
The Gargoyles are the alchemical creations of the Tremere, a bloodline formed through experimentation upon the captured corpses of slain Tzimisce, Gangrel, and Nosferatu. The Gargoyles are not truly made of stone, though their abhorrent appearance is monstrous and tends towards resembling genuine gargoyles. They are the transmogrified victims of the Warlocks with the memories of their past life wiped and used as shock troops and body guards in their wars. The creation of further Gargoyles has been explicitly forbidden by the Camarilla as part of the terms of the Nosferatu and Gangrel joining, though the Tremere yet hide knowledge of their creation. The Cappadocians are the original Clan of Death, scholarly Graverobbers who were lead by their Antediluvian, Cappadocius, to discovering the secrets of death. Their status as clan would end when the young Methuselah, Augustus Giovanni, diablerized Cappadocius and lead a genocide upon the Cappadocians. They have been extinct for centuries, but does any Cainite truly die, especially those of the Clan of Death? Rumors persist of their survival, especially with the arrival of the strange Harbingers of Skulls to the Sabbat, withered, corpse-like necromancers who bear a great grievance against Clan Giovanni.
The Baali are the bogeyman of the Kindred world. They are devil-worshippers and inferalists, spawn of Satan who wish to bring about the end of the world. They are to be slain on sight with no remorse. The younger kindred view them as a fairly tale used by the elders to scare them, while the more wise are wary to watch for infiltrators. The Salubri, Banu Haqim, Setites, and the Sabbat as a whole are fervent hunters of the Baali. == Ventrue ==
The Ventrue are the Blue-Blood lords of the Camarilla. They sit on the throne and rule, whether it is as monarch of a kingdom or as CEO of a corporation. The Ventrue are bound by an intricate system of twisted noblesse-oblige and honor that has the Ventrue by and large uptight, pompous, and stuffy at best. They must prove why they are superior to their lessers. The Blue-Bloods put more emphasis on lineage than any other clan, and are expected to be able to recite their sire and their grand-sires up until Ventrue himself. They have not only a tendency to rule, but are expected to take positions of command by their elders, and so they have a higher percent of Princes than any other clans. They are the founding clan of the Camarilla, as they would have you know.

Disciplines: Dominate, Fortitude, Presence.

Weakness: The Ventrue have rarified tastes. They may only feed from a specific kind of mortal, which the specification varying from Ventrue to Ventrue. One might only be able to feed from virgin women, while another may only be able to feed from veterans of the Vietnam war. They may feed from any, but only those of their specification will actually sate them. In-game, the Ventrue will not gain vitae from feeding on homeless NPCs and animals.
The Tzimisce are the flesh-crafting Fiends of the Sabbat, a clan of inhuman and alien lords who jealously lord over their self-proclaimed domains. They are the ancient lords of the Carpathians. They are Dracula and Count Orlok. They mix a reverential respect for the tradition of the domain with a predilection for torture and mutilation. They are one of the two founding pillars of the Sabbat, alongside the Lasombra, and one of the greatest forces behind the original Anarch revolt. They slew their antediluvian, who they refer to as the Eldest, and brought the Vaulderie to destroy the bonds that ensnared them to their elders.

Disciplines: Animalism, Auspex, Vicissitude
Weakness: The Tzimisce are tied to the land, and so they must sleep with their native soil; either that of their birthplace or where they died. In game, the Tzimisce spawn with a bag of soil. If it's not kept on their person, they'll receive a stat debuff.
Tremere
The Tremere are the infamous clan of Blood Mages, warlock usurpers who have made an enemy of half the clans of the kindred. Originally mortal mages, they wrestled vampirism from the Tzimisce and underwent a magical rite using their vitae to transform themselves into a new sort of vampire. They swiftly developed their new discipline of Thaumaturgy, Blood Magic, with their existing knowledge of their now lost hermetic arts to craft new rituals and creations to ward off their enemies. They waged the Omen War against the Tzimisce with their new Gargoyle creations, constructed from the captured and mutilated corpses of the kindred of clans Tzimisce, Nosferatu, and Gangrel, who all became their enemy.

Yet not only did Clan Tremere survive, they found the torpid Saulot, Antediluvian of Clan Salubri. Tremere himself diablerized Saulot and secured his fledgling bloodline's status as a clan and damned the Salubri, only further cementing their fate with pogroms against the once-clan. The Salubri were painted as soul-devouring infernalists and slain in swathes.

The Tremere are one of the founding seven clans, and with their power over Thaumaturgy, have proved their usefulness to the sect through their versatile rituals that offer an element that other sects cannot match. Historically, the Tremere are incredibly insular and organized in a pyramid, with each Tremere ritualistically blood bound to the clan pyramid itself, with the slumbering Tremere at the very tip. Yet in 2008, the Vienna Chantry where the Inner Council of Seven dwelt, the Second Inquisition struck and destroyed it, irrevocably changing the entire clan.

Clan Tremere has shattered into parts, and the blood bonds to the Inner Council have all vanished. The very curse of the Clan has altered. In modern nights, the clan has fallen into four main houses, with several other smaller ones on the periphery. The remnants of the Pyramid have refounded House Tremere, while House Goratrix and House Carna form two other houses within the Camarilla. House Ipsissimus, the fourth, stands with the Anarchs.

Disciplines: Auspex, Dominate, Thaumaturgy.

Flaw: Previously, the Tremere's flaw was their susceptibility to the blood bond. A single drink of another kindred's vitae counted as two towards the blood bond, and as part of entering the clan, each initiate was forced to drink from the cup of the seven and ritually blood bond themselves to the Clan itself. Since the fall of Vienna, though, the Tremere's flaw has changed completely. Their vitae is now incapable of bonding other kindred, and they have some difficulty bonding humans through their vitae.
The Toreador are the artists and patrons of the Kindred world, more in-tune with humanity and its culture than any other clan. The Degenerates are romantics and prone to fits of fancy, but are equally wont to engaging in petty plots simply to force joy and drama into their lives. They are one of the founding clans of the Camarilla, and have been keen to see themselves as the Queen to the Ventrue's King. The Toreador hold a crucial role in the Camarilla in ensuring the aging and out of touch kindred remain relevant and alive. They are the life of the party and the gossip-monger.
When a Toreador witnesses something remarkable to them, they are utterly ensnared and cannot willingly take their attention from it, even to their detriment. They are a founding clan of the Camarilla, though the Nosferatu pride themselves on prioritizing their clan over their sect. Nosferatu within both the Camarilla and Sabbat communicate and work together, though this isn't a fact they like to share. Knowledge is power, and the Nosferatu hoard it.
Setites
The Setites, or the Followers of Set, are a clan of vampires who follow their own gnostic faith derived from worship of the Egyptian God and vampire Set. The Clan of Faith worship and follow the teachings of the God and Antediluvian Set, who discovered the truth of the world after taking in the blood of the Serpent of Chaos, Apep, in the underworld. He discovered that the human soul was boundless, but the world was actually a prison and the Gods were its slavers. The chains that bind humanity are created by the Gods through social conditioning. Religion, culture, and custom are all forms of indoctrination that chain humanity. The Setites therefore are liberators, or called Corruptors by others. They challenge the morals and beliefs of people and organizations and attempt to twist them. They are masters of black-mail, corruption, seduction, and subterfuge. They are the serpent in the garden of Eden, though many Setites tend to loath the connotation. Setites loath devils as much as they loath angels; they seek only free will, and any divinity, good or evil, is but another jailor.

Disciplines: Presence, Obfuscate, Serpentis.

Flaw: Due to the hate of Amun-Ra, God of the Sun, the Setites take increased damage from sunlight and are sensitive to very bright lights. In-game, this is simulated by taking increased fire damage.
Recent History
The Church of Set renews efforts to make inroads within the Camarilla and the Free States as the new millennia dawns. The Eternals broker deals for their temples in Camarilla domains, facilitating the mentorship of their Paths, and for their particular rituals. As it stands, the Church of Set and the Camarilla are neutral, with the former expected to police themselves. Ever since the Conclave of Prague, this relationship has decayed some. This is due to the introduction of the Banu Haqim into Camarilla elder leadership, along reconciliation with the Assamites own rituals.

This turn of events has taken a lot of the argument from the sect of Hierophants that had believed the Camarilla are the most fit tool to destroy the Aeons with. The other varying offshoots of the Setite faith remain loose, and divided. The Serpents of Light have found new purchase as spiritual leaders with the exodus of the Lasombra. More theologically angled arguments bicker between if it ought to be, but none argue the ranks this 'Antitribu' of the Church appears to bring. Rumors of the Daitya persist, they must exist - somewhere entrenched in their ancient temples.

Whispers of the Cohort of Wepwawet are hard to dismiss, one way or another. More dangerous still, the Theophidians are beginining to fray. The wheel of time has begun to turn against the fervor, and the lack of Set's return devolves into a chaotic disenchantment and outright rejection. Calls for Contending are becoming much more common, clamping down on any further flow out of their grasps. Outside of these dogmatic masters, attempts at a grand united front of Set's faithful begin to manifest.

San Francisco 2015
The Church of San Francisco is independent. The local temple is itself a wellspring of heterodox ideas, a trend which is not uncommon among the youth of dogmatic kindred sects.
They operate like a sect of their own, and while they will offer their services to the other sects, they intentionally keep out of the way of the Camarilla. The Promise of 1528 is perhaps the most defining trait of the relationship between the Giovanni and the Camarilla, and has ensured their independence. While the Lasombra have always had a select few members within the Camarilla, following the Sabbat's Fourth Civil War in the early 2010's, half of the clan has defected to the Camarilla at the behest of the Friends of the Night. Lasombra are under more pressure than ever to prove themselves to the sect they have historically pitted themselves against. They undertake burdens and duties beyond the other clans, but their perfectionist nature drives them to succeed.
Gangrel
The Gangrel are independent loners in-tune with their inner beast. Their greatest trait as a clan is their penchant for survival; more than any other vampire, the Gangrel are the best suited to surviving wherever they find themselves, with a particular focus on the outskirts of civilization and the wilds. They are one of the founding clans of the Camarilla though they never joined the sect in as great numbers as the other clans. In recent years, they've left the sect as a whole in recent years. An omen has passed, and the Gangrel listen.

Disciplines: Animalism, Fortitude, Protean.

Flaw: The Outlanders' affinity with nature manifests on their flesh. Whenever a Gangrel frenzies, they acquire a random, animalistic feature: a patch of fur, scales, or a sensitivity to crowds or loud noises. In exceptional situations, or due to repeated frenzies, these traits may become permanent.

Accepted Bloodlines: City Gangrel.

Recent History
The Gangrel have left the Camarilla in recent times. Not out of an ideological dispute, though the Gangrel have never been happy to be collared by authority. Unlike the Brujah, though, they are not forced out of the Tower. Gangrel go and do as they please, in whatever sect they would find themselves, though many are independent.
Brujah
The Brujah is the clan of rebellion. They are fiery and passionate by and large, eager to take up a cause and fight for it. They are the founders of the Anarch Revolts and one of the founding clans of the Camarilla, though in recent nights, they have both left and been banished from the Camarilla to support the Anarchs in full after the assassination of Hardestadt at the Conclave of Prague. The Brujah have a history as philosophers, and count the peak of their clan's history in the construction and rulership of Carthage. Since its loss, the Brujah have been known as the Rabble, aimless rebels searching to regain what they lost.

Disciplines: Celerity, Potence, Presence.

Flaw: The passions of the Brujah are heightened and lead them to frenzy far more easily than any other kindred.

Accepted Bloodlines: True Brujah.

Recent History
While the Anarch Movement has always held a great deal of Brujah, the destruction of the Convention of Thorns after the assassination of Hardestadt by Camarilla Archon and Brujah Theo Bell has lead to the entirety of Clan Brujah leaving the Camarilla, whether by choice or not. They have entirely committed themselves to the newly independent Anarch Movement and serve as stalwart supporters, warriors, and leaders.
The Banu Haqim, or the Assamites, are the judges of the kindred world. They are the childen of Haqim, their Antediluvian founder they revere and whose code they follow. Or so they did. They have a long history as hired blades centered around the Middle East, lending their services to their Western cousins and being fervent hunters of infernalism. Their clan culture revolves around the teachings of Haqim, with one of his most important and controversial precepts being the diablerie of those kindred who they believe to be undeserving of their blood, thus returning their blood to Caine. With the founding of the Camarilla, Clan Tremere cursed the entirety of the Banu Haqim, save for their Sabbat Antitribu, to be unable to commit diablerie.

The Banu Haqim have retained their status as an independent clan until the awakening of the ancient Methuselah Ur-Shulgi, an Assamite Sorcerer of power beyond any other. He single handedly shattered the curse of Clan Tremere and lead a purge of his clan of those he saw as having abandoned Haqim; especially the very large number of Islamic Assamites, who Ur-Shulgi saw as heretics. As a result, a great deal of the Banu Haqim have defected en masse to the Camarilla to flee their wrathful Methuselah.

Disciplines: Celerity, Obfuscate, Quietus.

Flaw: As a result of a curse from the Baali millenia ago, the Banu Haqim are addicted to the blood of kindred. In addition, their aura will always show the black of diablerie, even if they haven't committed diablerie.

Accepted Bloodlines: Vizier.

Recent History
In the last few years, the Banu Haqim have completed their official induction into the Camarilla. Freed of the curse of the Tremere, the Assamites once more hunger for the blood of the kindred. While the traditions of the Camarilla forbid diablerie, their protections are only relevant to those within the tower. The Anarchs and the Sabbat, therefore, are easy targets for the Banu Haqim's indulgences. They are not mere diablerists though. They are competent sheriffs and hounds who would serve the role of judge to ensure Kindred act as fitting of their power.

Accepted Bloodlines: Warrior Setites, Warriors of Glycon, Tlacique, Children of Damballah.

Obtenebration is the trademark Discipline of clan Lasombra which is the unearthly control over shadows. It is related to the practice of Abyss Mysticism within the clan.

=== Associated Powers ===<br>

Gaining great damage resistance.

This can resemble psychological conditions and disorders, but the Malkavian's derangements are always otherworldly in nature and cannot be cured nor treated. With their madness, which is unique to each Malkavian, comes a level of insight beyond any other. Within their madness is genuine prophecy and wisdom. The task is to decipher what's drivel and what isn't. Despite all this, the Malkavians are a founding clan of the Camarilla. They are both jesters and prized Cassandras that offer a much needed challenge to the status quo enforced by the staid courts of the other clans.

Disciplines: Auspex, Dementation, Obfuscate.

Flaw: As mentioned prior, each Malkavian suffers from a permanent, incurable derangement. They vary in intensity and type from Malkavian to Malkavian. As part of their madness, though, the Malkavians have a link to one another. Part flaw and part blessing, the Malkavians are connected by the 'cobweb' that allows a level of supernatural connection via imparting fleeting images and emotions.

Accepted Bloodlines: Dominate Malkavian.

Banu Haqim
