It is 2015 in San Francisco and the Second Inquisition, supported by a force of machines and otherwise unknown tech, finally struck down the Tremere in a violent act of revenge for their past transgressions. The shattering of the Vienna Chantry has since brought upon much conflict throughout Kindred society.

Due in part to the now waning power of Clan Tremere, now known as “House Tremere” with several successor houses taking root within the shattered pyramid, Hardestadt of the Camarilla called upon his closest allies and members of the Ivory Tower to discuss this new threat.

During this, it is said that Theo Bell and the rest of Clan Brujah threw up arms against Hardestadt and his Camarilla, causing Theo Bell to assault Hardestadt and fail in doing so leading to Theo Bell being critically wounded and fleeing with his revolutionaries with Clan Gangrel following soon after. It was during the convocation that the Camarilla began to ban modern technology but due to the ignorance of the Elders, the ban was not as far reaching as some would hope, leading to very minor masquerade breaches.

It was during this meeting that the leaders of The Sabbat also began to discuss their future moves before being informed that several Archbishops have begun to “go silent” due to mysterious men in black. The Sabbat after this would resort to more subtle tactics as the now empowered Second Inquisition and its mysterious benefactor has managed to put several sects to the wayside with the amount of destruction they caused.

The Kuei-Jin did not at any point “invade” California and the Free State is very much still going strong and seeing even more growth since the weakening of the Ivory Tower. In response to this, the Camarilla has opened its gates to new clans to replace the Gangrel and Brujah, leading to the entry of the Lasombra and Banu Haqim within the Camarilla.

In regards to the Giovanni however, after a plot from within, Augustus Giovanni would be found reduced to nothing but a pile of ash. Several members from the line of Ashur rejoiced while others were horrified, unknown if this was a trick or not. In accordance with his apparent death, the Children of Ashur came together after reports came in that something “Big” was happening within the Shadowlands due in part to the death of Augustus.

As for the Sabbat, they are currently taking the brunt of the Second Inquisition, of which is primarily brought on by extremist elements within the Society of Leopold and where the Sabbat and even Camarilla reigned supreme there is nothing but the ceaseless explosions of car bombs and fire bombing, the government all to keen to look the other way in most circumstances.

Last but not least; There are several “mini” sects making moves during this period of the Final Nights. Rumors float around that there is another hand, greater than that of the Sabbat making moves within the Middle-East against the Ashirra. The Baali are said to be making a resurgence as well, leaving a path of destruction and agony throughout Mexico and South America, with rumors that their ancient “Blood God” has arisen once more.
